Change in ownership now completed

The acquisition announced earlier is completed and the ownership of Merivaara Corporation has changed. Private equity firm Intera Partners purchased a majority holding in the company, and Merivaara’s management and other key employees became significant minority shareholders. A fund managed by Finnish Intera Partners is now majority shareholder, with a holding of 65%. Merivaara’s key employees hold approximately 35% of the company. The new shareholders’ aim is to develop Merivaara’s business and strengthen the company’s competitive advantage and position in domestic and international markets.
